The Haven or as we sometimes call it, The Homestead, is our historic family home for the Cox family. CoxHaven Limited’s Brent and Lori Cox are renovating this home in Salt Lake County, Utah to be able to live in and host our beautiful family. Our updated home and yard will allow us to host get-togethers for our families and engage in some gardening and wood crafting. But not before we had to do this huge tree dig up!!
We recently had to dig up two tree stumps in the yard and it was quite a crazy sight. There were several dying trees that needed to be removed in order to replace the underground utility lines. Luckily, we have a very talented plumber friend (oddly enough) to carefully dig and pull the remaining stumps out to make room for the pipelines. I was completely flabbergasted when they finally pulled up this GIANT stump and root. The old backhoe tractor was also “surprised,” as it blew out a couple of hydraulic seals in the effort. The size of the root was about doubt the width of the tree stump. It was massive.
