Heart of the Haven, Even in Times of Chaos and Renovation.
Hello!! Most of you know we are doing renovations to our current home, The Haven or The Homestead. (We haven’t quite decided 😉) It's been a long-term project from ripping out trees to tearing down walls, but it will be so worth it. Almost all of the contents of the house have been taken out on the inside, like sinks, cabinets, countertops, and tubs. Even the old commode had to go, but we have an extra one! We still need to insulate the walls a bit better and then do sheetrock, but progress is being made.
The Haven is so special and important to us as a family! We are holding on to the heart of the house, even in times of chaos and renovations. We are learning so much about the renovation process and making so many decisions, and we will be overjoyed when it is finished! The work is making us stronger and tired, but it will be...
